Every big project starts with a single step, and today we’re excited to share ours. This photo captures the very beginning of our journey toward building the new 18,000-square-foot Boardsort facility. At this stage, the land still holds the stand of trees that have been here for decades—quiet witnesses to what used to be an untouched lot.
While it’s always a little bittersweet to see trees removed, their clearing marks the first real sign of progress. This step makes way for the foundation of what will soon become a state-of-the-art space for electronics recycling, processing, and operations. Standing here, looking out at the trees just before they came down, you can almost imagine the walls, the truck bays, and the mezzanine offices that will soon rise in their place.
This moment might look simple—a lot, some trees, and a crew preparing to clear the ground—but it represents the beginning of a major transformation. From here on, every update will bring us closer to seeing our vision come to life.
